DIFK and its member banks talk about 2020 co-operation

The Kosovo Deposit Insurance Fund (DIFK) met with representatives of each member banks such as internal auditor and head of Compliance function, to discuss (i) the member bank compliance with respective DIFK Regulations and (ii) the DIFK annual plan in relation to member banks.

The purpose of respective meetings is to further intensify cooperation and enhance the effective implementation of DIFK regulations, thereby contributing towards the achievement of the objectives of the deposit insurance system to protect small depositors from loss in the case where an insured event occurs as defined under the Law, as well as to support the Central Bank in meeting its objective to foster the soundness, solvency and efficient functioning of a stable, market-based financial system.
