Member of Managing Board

Mr. Bekim Berisha is Assistant Professor in the University of Prizren in the subjects: Financial Accounting I and II, Economic Aspects, Project Management and Auditing (Bachelor),  Auditing and Security Services, Scientific Research Methodology, Internet Audit (Master). He also is Assistant Professor in the AAB College in Prishtina for subjects: Scientific Research Methodology, International Finances, Managerial Accounting, and Audit.

Mr. Berisha has more than 38 years of work experience in public and private institutions, mainly in the field of audit and management.

From May 2011, Mr. Berisha he has been member of the Management Board of the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo. From September 2011, he has been Chairperson of the Nomination Committee in SCAAK – Society of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo and currently he is Chairperson of the Professional Standards Committee.

He currently holds the title Doctor of Science – Accounting and Auditing and has completed the studies in the University of Prishtina, earning the title Economics Graduate, Statutory/Legal Auditor – CPA and Master of Research – PhD Accounting and Auditing.

Mr. Berisha has made more than 15 publications in the field of auditing: financial reports, accounting, role and importance of Foreign Direct Investments to the economic development of Kosovo, importance of accounting information in Kosovo, impact of SMEs in Kosovo, impact of the composition of Board of Directors in financial performance of L.L.C. in Kosovo, deferred taxes, role of external auditing in lending policies of commercial banks in Kosovo, etc.
