Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo (DIFK) on the 30.06.2016 published its Annual Report for the year 2015, approved by the Management Board on 20.04.2016, which highlights institution’s five years performance detailed in the section of the report: Five-Year Progress!
The report begins with great appreciation for the German Government (through KfW), Kosovo Government (through Ministry of Finance), International Development Association (through World Bank) and Central Bank of Kosovo for the establishment of the deposit insurance system in Kosovo which completed the financial stability landscape!
In the year 2015, main achievements are compliance assessment with IADI’s Core Principles for Effective Deposit Insurance Systems and the signing of the Grant Agreement with EBRD for the development and implementation of the Depositor Compensation System (DCS) in amount of €255,523.34 with co-financing by DIFK.
