DIFK as a member of IADI, the International Association of Deposit Insurers, participates in the 13th meeting of the Council of Members and Annual Conference

Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo was represented by the Managing Director – Mrs. Violeta Arifi- Krasniqi and Management Board member Mr. James Hambric, in the 13th Meeting of the Council of Members and Annual Conference on the topic: ” Basic Principles to empower Financial Architecture Stability “, co-organized by the International Association of Deposit Insurers and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago, as host of the event.

From dates 20-21.10.2014 , Mrs.Arifi-Krasniqi participated in the meeting of the European Regional Committee where she presented the achievements of DIFK during 2014. Mrs Arifi -Krasniqi also participated in other Meetings of other Committees and Membership Communications , Governance , Data and Survey , Research and Guidance .

During the Annual Conference, 22-23.10.2014 held in Port of Spain a number of topics were discussed by high level key speakers that shared their experiences and views on topics such as: The Core Principles and Bank Resolution, Advancing the IADI Core Principles for Funding Resolutions and Deposit Insurance, Assessment of Compliance with the IADI Core Principles, Applying the Core Principals with Different Mandates, Settings and Structures, Challenges in Appling the Core Principles in the Caribbean Region.

DIFK participated in the exhibition organized by the IADI for all Deposit Insurance agencies that are members of the IADI, where DIFK has promoted the 2013 Annual report and other deposit information materials like the leaflet for depositors.
