DIFK holds a seminar with Working Group of member banks

On 12/11/2014 the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo has organized a seminar with Working Group of member banks. Participants of the seminar were all member banks of DIFK, Kosovo Bankers Association and the National Agency for Personal Data Protection.
The objective of the seminar was to inform the participants on the development and implementation of the deposit compensation system (DCS) and the establishment of a working group with representatives from member banks. Also, the participants were informed of the role of the working group and its objectives in support of the development of DCS.
Participants were presented the following topics: “The legal framework for compensation of depositors” and “Development and implementation of a system for compensation of depositors”.
