DIFK participated in technical simulation for the process of calculation of the premium organized by the Deposit Insurance Agency of the Republic of Albania

Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2017, the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency welcomed the delegation of the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo and its participation in the joint simulation with theme “Technical simulation for the process of calculation of premiums”, which was held in Tirana, 05 October 2017.

The part I of the technical simulation included the demonstration of the premium module (SIRK), the data uploads for premium in the system, the execution process of the premium calculation, and the verification process of the member institutions of the scheme.

Part II of the technical simulation included demonstration of controls of premium calculation with the focus on addressing differences in calculations, correcting data from member institutions, replacing of files in the system; re-execution of premium calculation process, as well as reconciliation of premium data from the member institution system with SIRK and the premium statement.

The technical simulation of premium calculation was successful. Throughout the process, the spirit of group collaboration prevailed, respecting the tasks of each group and coordination of actions between them and the exchange of bilateral experiences.
