DIFK staff in the workshop held in Tirana,finalizes “Draft Procedure for Compensation of insured depositors”

From 23 to 26 November 2015, the staff of DIFK organized a joint workshop with the aim of finalizing the draft Depositor Compensation Procedure. The procedure for compensation of depositors is drafted in accordance with the Regulation for Compensation of depositors and Operational and technical framework for compensation of depositors. The draft procedure will be a document that will be reviewed continuously for relevance based on international best practices in deposit insurance.

At the same time, on 26.11.2015 delegation of DIFK visited Deposit Insurance Agency of Albania.

The purpose of the visit was the exchange of experiences, and information on raising the effectiveness of the deposit insurance systems. This cooperation is based on the Agreement on cooperation between the Deposit Insurance Agency of the Republic of Albania and the Deposit Insurance Fund of the Republic of Kosovo, signed in 2014.
