The Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo participates in the regional meeting of the European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) members from the Balkan region

The delegation of the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo (DIFK), represented by Managing Director Ms. Shqipe Devaja and Ms. Lirika Ulaj, Senior Compensation Officer, participated in the regional meeting of the European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) members from the Balkan region, which was organized by the Deposit Insurance Fund of North Macedonia and held on September 11, 2025, at the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, in Skopje.

The meeting brought together representatives of peer institutions from across the region, with the central theme “Current legislation and future reforms in deposit insurance systems in the Balkan region.”

Ms. Devaja presented the latest developments and upcoming reforms in the deposit insurance system of the Republic of Kosova.

DIFK expressed its gratitude to the organizers for their hospitality and initiative, emphasizing the importance of this meeting in deepening cooperation among EFDI member region institutions.
