The Managing Director, Ms. Violeta Arifi-Krasniqi, in the capacity of a panel member, attended the workshop with journalists, organized under the auspices of the Kosovo Bank Association, held on 22.06.2018. Ms. Arifi-Krasniqi before the journalists, as a member of Panel I that elaborated the topic of financial news, presented relevant information to the public regarding the Deposit Insurance System.
The following key information was presented: 1. Features of Kosovo’s Deposit Insurance System design, 2. International Guidelines: European Directive on Deposit Guarantee and IADI’s Fundamental Principles, 3. DIFK’s mandate, 4. Key indicators of Deposit Insurance, and 5. Public awareness activities with banks.
The event took place at the ProCredit Bank Training Centre in Prevalla.
