DIFK attends the 30th Meeting of the Europe Regional Committee in Prague

As a representative of DIFK that, Managing Director, Mrs. Violeta Arifi-Krasniqi attends the 30th Meeting of the Europe Regional Committee of IADI – International Association of Deposit Insurers held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Ms. Arifi-Krasniqi will report to the Committee on the annual activities of DIFK and achievements with in the annual reporting of members. Other topics of the meeting were: Report on the activities of the Secretariat of the IADI and information on the results of the Annual Survey 2014, the approval of the procedure and selection of the Chairman of the ERC in term of three years, the results of the workshop on strategic planning of IADI.

During the meeting, also a technical seminar was held on “Crisis communication and social media” including communication with depositors and practices, presented by Canada, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Romania. All participants also have elaborated in case of crisis communication and use of social media experiences from Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Great Britain, Russia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Poland.
