DIFK delegation attended the International Conference of the European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI)

DIFK delegation attended the International Conference on the topic ” Sailing toward Financial Stability” co-organized by the European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) and the State Agency for Deposit Insurance in Croatia (DAB) as the host. The conference was held on 3 September 2015 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Deposit Insurance Fund in Kosovo (DIFK) was represented by the Chairperson of the Management Board of DIFK Mrs. Shkëndije Himaj-Zekaj , Managing Director Mrs. Violeta Arifi- Krasniqi and Senior Legal Officer Ms. Shqipe Devaja .

The topics discussed at the conference were: Path towards EU Banking Union, Authorities Cooperation Booster, experiences on the implementation of the European Directive on Guarantee Deposit Schemes (DGSD) and Vision for New Directive in Investment Compensation Plans (ICS), Alternative Financing Arrangements (EU and non-EU). One of the topics was presented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Croatia, the speech was: “Towards the Banking Union in the Euro Area:  Remaining Issues and New Challenges”.
