On 25-30 October 2015, DIFK attended the annual general meeting of Members of IADI’s and Annual Conference in Kuala Lumpur

Representatives of the Deposit Insurance Fund in Kosovo participated in the Annual general meeting of the Members of the International Association of Deposit Insurers “IADI” and the Annual Conference held on   October 25 to October 30 2015, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia organized by the Corporation for Malaysia Deposit Insurance (Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia), as host of the event.

DIFK is represented by the Managing Director Ms. Violeta Arifi-Krasniqi and Senior Compensation Officer Mrs. Lirika Ulaj. Meetings of the committees working within the IADI’s addressed topics such as the evaluation methodology of the Core Principles, research, training, data and surveys, regional meetings and a strategic plan and reform of IADI .

While on the Annual Conference with the theme: Pre-Crisis – Institutional Arrangements and Coordination, Crisis communication  and contingency planning “were addressed topics with special emphasis on the lessons from the recent global crisis in cooperation between countries, communication and planning and simulations. In addition, the representatives of  IMF and the World Bank presented the framework of cooperation with the Deposit Insurance Agencies and the areas of technical assistance and contingency funding.

DIFK participated in the exhibition organized by IADI with all Deposit Insurance Agencies that are members of IADI- where are promoted DIFK’s Annual Report for 2014   , information leaflet for depositors and other promotional materials.
