DIFK participated in a roundtable discussion organized by the State Agency for Personal Data Protection

On May 19, 2016, DIFK was represented by Ms. Lirika Ulaj and Mr. Besmir Kuqi in a roundtable discussion organized by the State Agency for Personal Data Protection in the financial sector, and the discussion topics of this roundtable were: General guidelines for Personal Data Protection Officers in the financial sector (PDPO), explaining the general framework for the protection of personal data in the financial sector, the role of DPO (Data Protection Officer) and the principles of performance for this officer.

It is worth mentioning that the PDPO guidelines for the financial sector were distributed at this roundtable. The guidelines represent the basic manual for Personal Data Protection Officer in the sector, identifying the main topics to be considered during data processing.
