Staff of Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo conducted a study visit from 1st until 3rd of February 2017 to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey (SDIF), to exchange experience and share best practices in the field of Deposit Insurance.
Presented topics were: the mission and mandate of SDIF, background, key functions and organizational structure, financial security net, the system of risk based premiums, application of methods for risk monitoring, financing and fund management, SDIF framework in bank resolution, asset management and SDIF recovery process, reimbursement process. IT and Asset Management departments were also visited.
