DIFK was represented by Managing Director at IADI Executive Council meeting and the conference organized by Financial Stability Institute

Managing Director, Ms. Violeta Arifi Krasniqi, in the capacity as member, represented DIFK in the Committee meetings and the 54th meeting of the Executive Board of IADI (International Association of Deposit Insurers), whereby, among others, the Code of Ethics was adopted, and the initiative for establishment of a working group for exploring options for funding sources, was presented.

On January 31 and February 2, Mrs. Arifi Krasniqi attended the conference organized by the Financial Stability Institute and IADI, whereby it was discussed the topic relevant to the time “Bank resolution, crisis management and deposit insurance. The conference addressed four topics: 1. Progress in implementing effective bank resolution frameworks; 2. Development of effective non-bank institutions resolution framework; 3. Regulatory Capital and “bail-in”; 4. Experiences in the implementation of “TLAC” rules based on US and Europe experiences; 5. Evaluation in process of bank resolution by elaborating regulatory requirements and market practices;

The event took place from 29 January to 2 February 2018 in Basel, Switzerland, at facilities of Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
