The Managing Director represented DIFK in the International Conference of the European Regional Committee of IADI and participated in experts training workshop on Core Principles and the Methodology

The Managing Director of the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo, Mrs. Violeta Arifi – Krasniqi participated in the International Conference with the theme: “Resolution and Deposit Guarantee Schemes in Europe: Incomplete Processes and Uncertain Outcomes”, organized by the European Regional Committee of IADI held on 23 of march 2018, which discussed the following themes, into three panels: 1. European Banks between old and new risks; 2. How do we resolve banks?; 3. The EDIS. Missing Pillar of Pillar to Miss?

In addition, the Managing Director Mrs. Arifi – Krasniqi, selected by IADI Committee, participated in experts training workshop of IADI in application of the IADI Core Principles and the Methodology for compliance assessment. The two-day workshop, held on 26-27 of march 2018, discussed three main modules: 1. Overview of the IADI Core Principles, essential criteria and grading system based on the IADI Handbook on compliance assessment; 2. Case studies in compliance assessment, and 3. Special issues in applying the Core Principles.

The event was held in Naples, Italy hosted by the Bank Deposit Fund of Italy which chairs the IADI European Regional Committee.
