DIFK and SDIF Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Bilateral Cooperation

Tokyo, Japan – November 12, 2024 – The Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo (DIFK) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Türkiye (SDIF) to enhance bilateral cooperation. The formal signing ceremony took place during the IADI events 23rd Annual General Meeting of Members, International Conference and the 80th Executive Council Meeting, hosted by the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan (DICJ) in Tokyo, Japan.

The MOU signifies a strategic step forward in promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing between DIFK and SDIF. It outlines a framework for mutual cooperation aimed at advancing the development of both institutions’ deposit insurance systems (DIS). The agreement emphasizes regular bilateral meetings, sharing of research and expertise, and collaborative efforts in areas of deposit insurance.

Mrs. Shqipe Devaja, Managing Director of DIFK, and Mr. Yusuf Öksüzömer, Member of the Board of SDIF, signed the MOU on behalf of their respective institutions. The agreement marks an important milestone in strengthening cooperation between DIFK and SDIF.
