Senior Officer

Mrs. Albulena Aliu Fetai is a Senior Officer at the Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo (DIFK) since May 2021. In her role at DIFK, Mrs. Aliu Fetai covers the field of depositor protection with a focus on increasing public awareness about the rights and limits of the Deposit Insurance System, as well as promoting international cooperation in relation to International Financial Institutions and International Deposit Insurance Institutions. Furthermore, Mrs. Aliu Fetai also covers the field of risk management of the institution.

Albulena has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, where before her engagement in DIFK she was part of the banking sector engaged mainly in the field of risk management, with a focus on market, liquidity, and operational risk, and compliance risk management, where she has provided continuous contribution to various projects and activities for improving these areas.

Mrs. Aliu Fetai holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Sheffield. She completed her Bachelor studies in Management and Informatics at the University of Prishtina.

Albulena is currently pursuing a degree in finance at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
