DIFK representatives are participating in the Annual General Meeting and Conference of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) which is being held in Boston, USA

The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), where DIFK is a full member, is holding its 2023 Annual General Meeting and Conference during the period of 25-29 September in Boston, USA, organized by the e Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation. In this conference DIFK is represented by Acting Managing Director, Mrs. Shqipe Devaja and Mr. Vllaznim Bytyqi, Senior Finance Officer.

The main theme of this conference is “Successfully Managing Systemic Risk: Deposit Insurance in a Turbulent World”. This conference will feature discussions in five different panels focusing on deposit insurance stemming from the recent banking crisis (Silicon Valley bank failure): such as lessons learned from the recent turmoil, review of deposit coverage, insurance of deposits and regulation, as well as the role of deposit insurers in bank resolution.

In addition to participating in the conference, representatives of DIFK will also participate in the respective regional and technical committees where the work of different working groups and other issues will be presented.
